what is, a dinosaur

the name?
The term dinosaur was coined in 1842 by Sir Richard Owen and derives from Greek deinos, meaning "terrible, powerful, wondrous" + sauros meaning "lizard"
The word dinosaur means terrible lizard.

  • dino-terrible
  • saur-lizard.
So that leads to the conclusion that we still have dinosaurs today. (for example: Komoto Dragon)
