minimalism - in photograpgy

aswell as graphic design and illustration minimalism is also used in all other forms of art.
i came across this series of photographs by a Turkish photography student called Anil Akkus, the series is entitled 'White' and is a study of pure minimalism, using nothing but the colour white in each photograph sounds pretty dull but the effect this has is pretty amazing, using nothing but shadows and subtle grey shades to outline objects works really well.
